Please bring your insurance card, current glasses, contacts, and a list of your medications to your appointment. You can find our patient paperwork on our website on the Patient Forms tab to be able to bring along with you to your appointment as well.

The Optomap takes a 220-degree digital panoramic image of the back of the eye without the need for dilation. It becomes part of your permanent record and the doctor will review it with you.  All our doctors strongly recommend this technology for adults and children as a means of significantly enhancing their ability to detect serious eye conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, retinal holes, tears and detachments, macular degeneration, malignant melanomas, and glaucoma, as well as many other peripheral retinal diseases.

Our Doctors recommend a comprehensive eye exam as early as 6 to 12 months under the InfantSEE program, unless concerns arise before then. This is a free program all three of our doctors participate in.  Exams are recommended annually for every age. It’s never too early to have the health of the eyes evaluated, as well as, if a prescription is needed.

Around an hour for your exam. If you are interested in updating your frame and lenses, it could be up to an hour and a half depending on how long it takes you to decide on frames.

She will do a corneal evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate for contact lenses and take the measurements needed to provide you with a proper fit.  Follow up visits to evaluate the fit of your contact lenses are included. We accept many insurances for both medical and vision. However, there are insurances that we are considered an out of network provider with and suggest that you contact our office so that we can properly answer your question.

Our doctors can evaluate if you are a potential candidate for any form of vision corrective surgery. Once a decision has been made, they will help select the best physicians to perform the surgery specific to your needs. Our doctors will then follow up during all of your postoperative appointments to continue to monitor you during the healing process. We have outstanding cataract surgeons in which we will refer patients to have surgery. Our doctors will then follow up during all of your postoperative appointments to continue to monitor you during the healing process.

Our doctors perform a thorough ocular health examination that tests for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and many other ocular health diseases.

Yes, we treat ocular injuries and infections. In some instances, we can also bill your medical insurance for these services, in which they may help with the charges.

We strongly recommend an annual ocular health examination for all diabetic patients. Our Optomap retinal imaging provides us with an excellent view of the retina, as well as dilation, if necessary to monitor your retinal health yearly for diabetic retinopathy.
